Himanshu Kumar has more than 24 years of comprehensive experience and proven expertise in Planning, Design, Deployment and Management of large and complex telecom networks.
He had been involved into many projects of National significance in both Fixed line and Wireless, with experience spanning across large organizations like Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL), Airtel, BSNL and DOT. Due to his extensive engagement in various aspects of network lifecycle, he carries deeper understanding of various aspects like – Cost trade off, short term vs long term planning, designing network for sustenance or long term winnability, prioritizing the investment with dynamically changing business needs, adopting technologies based on changing competitive landscape etc.
He is strong believer that Technology has potential to improve the lives of People, especially in Poor and Developing Countries. He has filed six patents in the field of Optical Passive Solutions. He is an active Rotarian and makes significant contribution in various social programs held under by Rotary Club.
