Data center conceptual design in 30 to 45 days

Accelerate data center conceptual design from months to weeks. The Decision Accelerator Pack uses 100+ reference designs to deliver a use-case optimised, investment-ready design in 30 to 45 days.

WHAT THIS SERVICE COVERS

A fast-track conceptual design validated against TIA 942C requirements

The Decision Accelerator Pack is designed for clients who need a credible, certification-aligned design concept quickly — to validate a development decision, initiate early procurement, support a planning or investment submission, or begin tenant conversations before full detailed design is commissioned. It draws on Technavious's library of over one hundred TIA 942C-certified reference designs, which have been developed and refined across MTDC, Edge, Hyperscaler, and Enterprise use cases at Tier II through Tier IV. Each reference design has been through a formal TIA 942C audit process, which means the output is not just a conceptual sketch but a validated, compliance-aligned starting point for detailed design. The service also includes vendor document review, which means clients can use the DAP output to initiate early procurement conversations with equipment suppliers.

WHAT WE DELIVER

Deliverables from this engagement

WHY TECHNAVIOUS

Why the Decision Accelerator is faster without compromising quality

The speed comes from not starting from scratch. The quality comes from starting from a certified precedent.

100+ certified reference designs eliminate blank-page delays

Every reference design in the library has been through a formal TIA 942C audit process. Starting from a certified precedent rather than a blank page reduces conceptual design time from months to weeks while maintaining compliance quality.

Simulation-ready from the outset

Reference designs are structured to enable CFD and ETAP simulation validation during the Detailed Design phase without requiring redesign. The DAP output is a validated starting point, not a preliminary sketch that will need to be substantially revised.

Immediate path to Detailed Design

Because the Decision Accelerator uses the same design frameworks as the Detailed Design pack, moving from DAP to Detailed Design is a continuation rather than a restart. Design time is not wasted on bridging the two stages.

HOW WE WORK

How the Decision Accelerator engagement works

Four phases from brief to deliverable in 30 to 45 days.

01
PHASE 01

Brief & Matching

Use case, capacity, site, and target tier confirmed. Matching reference design identified from library.

02
PHASE 02

Adaptation

Reference design adapted to site-specific requirements. Site optimisation and capacity calibration applied.

03
PHASE 03

Validation

Compliance adjacency assessment completed. Budgetary estimates calibrated to current costs.

04
PHASE 04

Delivery

Full deliverable set produced and delivered with a client review session.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A bespoke conceptual design starts from a blank page for each project, which typically takes four to six months. The Decision Accelerator starts from a certified reference design that has already been through a TIA 942C audit process, adapts it to the specific use case and site, and delivers in 30 to 45 days. The compliance quality is the same or better, because the reference design has already been validated against certification requirements.

Yes. The LOD 200 schematics and budgetary estimates are at a level of detail accepted by planning authorities and investment committees for data center projects in the large majority of cases. The compliance adjacency assessment provides evidence that the proposed configuration is certification-aligned, which is increasingly requested by lenders.

The Decision Accelerator output forms the basis of the Detailed Design engagement. Because both services use the same design framework, there is no redesign or reconciliation step between them. The DAP deliverables are handed directly to the Detailed Design team as the starting point for LOD 300 through LOD 450 development.

Yes. The reference design library covers MTDC, Hyperscale, Enterprise, and Edge use cases at Tier II through Tier IV ratings. Use cases that sit at the boundary of these categories — for example, a high-density AI-ready facility — are adapted from the closest matching reference design with specific modifications for the novel requirements.
